Europeans have known the Egyptian Swifts for a couple of centuries but only recently, in the last fifty years or so, did the American fanciers show a keen interest in these breeds.
The Egyptian Swifts are raised primarily for their flying capabilities but with the world of exhibition pigeons growing, these breeds are shown regularly all across the US, Germany and the United Kingdom.
