Hello, welcome to this site, I was born in Virden Manitoba June 19, 1947. My Mother still resides in the Virden area, Dad passed on Aug. 17, 1999. This web site is to provide a home page for people inquiring on the Virden area. I live in Hamilton Onatario now, so moderating this page from that distance could be somewhat of a challenge. This page will cover the Hargrave and Elkhorn areas as well. My Grandparents resided on a farm 1.5 miles southwest of Hargrave until they retired in Virden in the mid sixties. Our family roots stem from this area and Virden will always be home to us. Thanks, Glen
