Announcements

Allstream Announcements provide the tools you need to incorporate generic or customized messages to direct your callers to the appropriate agent or location. By providing your customers with efficient navigation through your phone system, you are highlighting how you value their time and service expectations.

Features:

  • Call Prompter routes calls to different locations or different routing arrangements within the same location based on a caller's response to a voice menu or announcement. It is available in two options:
    • Menu Routing allows the caller to select the department or function by entering the appropriate digits
    • Database Routing routes calls based on database entries such as account numbers or ID codes
  • Courtesy Response answers each call with a recorded message
  • Enroute Announcements allow callers to play a customized message at any point in the call path
  • Professionally recorded announcements in English and French or a variety of foreign languages
  • Variable length announcements as short as six seconds or as long as four minutes
  • Emergency announcement updates
  • Expedited announcement intervals
  • Five second time out after an announcement is played, which allows the caller to make a selection before being routed to the default termination
