To better serve our customers, we will be changing the way our roaming Internet customers use
dial-up to access the Internet. The following information will guide you through
this quick and simple process.
- For customers dialing into any Canadian locations with the Windows or Macintosh dialer, you do not
need to make any changes to your current setup. Your access to the internet will not be affected as we
make changes to the rest of our dial-up customers. For information on configuring your Windows or Macintosh
dialer, (including access numbers) please click here.
If you have the GRIC software/dialer installed, this should be removed as it will not be supported or be
functioning after our changes take place.
- For US/Mexico roaming customers; you can connect to the internet by dialing into our toll-free dial-up number ($0.10/minute will
be applied to your Allstream dial-up account while using this number). Please click here for more details.
- For global roaming customers (outside of North America); you will need to download the iPassConnect
Client, specifically designed to simplify your access to the Internet, from almost anywhere outside of
North America. This software is provided at no charge and can be accessed and downloaded from here. All global roaming customers must have this software prior to leaving North
America in order to dial-up into pops outside of North America. Additional fees for connecting outside of
North America will be listed within the iPassConnect Client.
These changes will allow you to access the Internet with minimal effort. For
additional information, please check our FAQ, found here.
Thank you for your business!
