DNS Customer Bulletin: IP Change Notice

On July 8th US-CERT (United Stats Computer Readiness Team) issued a vulnerability notice (VU#800113) identifying a variety of DNS configurations that are vulnerable to cache poisoning attacks..

URGENT ACTION REQUIRED

To protect customers, MTS Allstream Inc. is taking immediate steps to update its DNS configurations. As such, if you plan to continue using MTS Allstream Inc. servers for DNS Resolution you will need to update your organization's server and desktop configurations with the following IP addresses by July 31, 2008:

• 207.181.101.4
• 207.181.101.5

Failure to make these changes by July 31st may result in interruptions to your service.
